For the fifth year in a row, Coral Springs attorney Dan Cytryn, founding partner of Law Offices Cytryn & Velazquez, has been selected to the Super Lawyers list by Super Lawyers magazine.
Every year, Super Lawyers magazine recognizes the top 5 percent of attorneys in each state. In order to be named to the Super Lawyers list, attorneys are first nominated by their peers. Then follows an evaluation by the Super Lawyers research department based on 12 factors, including verdicts and settlements, honors and awards, and special certifications. Before formally being selected to the Super Lawyers list, the nominated lawyers are then rated by their peers.
Dan Cytryn is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer who has been practicing personal injury law in South Florida since May of 1981. Since day one, Mr. Cytryn has instilled in his staff the importance of putting clients first. The firm, originally located in Lauderhill, Florida, is now located in Coral Springs and has grown thanks to the support of clients, colleagues, and people in the community.
"It has been a pleasure to be serving this community for the past 36 years," says Cytryn. "Being an attorney has been very rewarding. Helping people who could not help themselves, helping people get on with their lives and helping people improve the quality of their lives, and holding big business corporations and insurance companies accountable to the people they owe. That's what my career has been all about"
During his 36 years in practice as a personal injury lawyer, Mr. Cytryn has tried nearly 100 jury trials and handled more than 50 appeals, including the landmark TGI Friday's v. Dvorak case in the Florida Supreme Court. He is also a member of multiple organizations, including the Florida Bar's Civil Rules Procedures Committee, the Florida Justice Association, and the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell and has a rating of 10.0 on the lawyer rating website avvo.com.
