Edgar Velazquez, Esq. has fourteen years of experience practicing law and is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Florida and Virginia. Mr. Velazquez also is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the District Courts for the Southern District of Florida and Eastern District of Virginia. He is a graduate of the George Mason University School of Law and the University of Virginia. He is bilingual (English and Spanish) and handles all matters related to injury cases from the initial client consultation through trial. He has litigated cases involving motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and falls, and medical malpractice. Before joining our firm, Mr. Velazquez defended insurance companies involved in lawsuits against their own customers, doctors, and other healthcare providers. In 2005, he became an associate in the firm seizing the opportunity to represent those victims injured by others' negligence. Mr. Velazquez was named a shareholder in 2008.
Before moving to Florida in 2002, Mr. Velazquez practiced immigration and employment discrimination law. Mr. Velazquez is in his third year as a Justice Teaching volunteer at Quiet Waters Elementary School in Deerfield Beach, Florida, educating children about our government and judicial system. He is married with two daughters.
